The Arizona Beef Council welcomes your class or grade to take a tour of a real working cattle ranch

The Arizona Beef Council offers ranch tours to students throughout the state of Arizona. Ranch tours provide an excellent hands-on experience for students to learn about the source of beef, leather, and many other products they use every day. Students attending the ranch tour will take a one-day trip to a working cattle ranch or feedlot and will learn about the history of ranching in Arizona, the history of the specific ranch or feedlot they visit, the equipment and tools used in ranching, ranching procedures and processes, and the many products and by-products that come from cattle.

Other topics teachers wish to have covered can be coordinated with the Beef Council. Students will have the opportunity to see livestock, corrals, and equipment. At the end of the tour, students will receive a "goodie bag" full of fun handouts and information.

Ranch Tours are offered FREE OF CHARGE to schools throughout Arizona!. The Beef Council also has funds available to help provide transportation for students. Call for more details
